Each year, Moda Health partners with the Trail Blazers to spotlight a local nonprofit during a special game night at the Moda Center. We dedicate this night to celebrate the organization’s mission and the positive impact their work has on our community.
On January 28, Moda Partner Spotlight Night is supporting the Northwest Association for Blind Athletes (NWABA). The NWABA has been enriching the lives of the blind and visually impaired through sports and physical activity since 2007. Their programs build confidence and life skills for all ages with sports outreach, an adaptive equipment lending library and audio-described virtual workouts. They provide opportunities in over 15 sports, from swim lessons to residential camp experiences.
Help the Northwest Association for Blind Athletes continue this critical work. Make a gift today to help provide life-changing opportunities to the blind and visually impaired.
Visit the Northwest Association for Blind Athletes PDX to learn how you can help. Be sure to spread the word to friends and family, too — and follow us on Facebook and Twitter for updates.
We have exciting news to share. ODS is changing its name to Moda Health.
Moda comes from the latin term "modus" and means "a way". We picked it because that's what we are here to do: help our communities find a way to better health.
Together, we can be more, be better.
